Things That Fall Apart / 2019
It is a mixture of found and original materials, being activated by gravity. The keystone of the arch made from wet clay, slowly being cut in half by a wire weighed down by two stones:  containing its own destruction. As it fell, it pulled the installation with it, falling onto a trap wire that was connected to the other pieces.

The fluorescent light tube rests on biodegradable water filled plastic bags, slowly disintegrating, leaking water.

Setting up situations of instability, of danger. Trying to eschew constructing something fixed or permanent, by stacking, leaning and balancing. Investigating the relationship to gravity: how long before it collapsed?
